August 14th - August 20th 2024
Hey guys!! It’s been a minute since I blogged I’m so busy this summer making lots of pottery and doing readings!! How y’all doing with this wild energy in the sky??? I feel this 5 day period is worthy of taking a minute to share my thoughts about the astrology playing out currently. This is a week for the books, and most definitely has a unexpected vibe happening. So let’s get into it…
I’m writing this ahead of time so that we may understand and be prepared, starting on August 14th we have the great benefic Jupiter in a conjunction with the lesser Malefic Mars which can transpire in a few ways Jupiter likes to expand what it touches, and with it being at the same degree as the god of war Mars, and Jupiter not being in it’s favourite spot in Gemini it can expand on aggression and verbal attacks as Gemini is ruled by Mercury which rules our thinking and our speech. It can also expand and gives us tremendous energy and focus, which is the more positive way this can transpire. Two days later Saturn joins the mix in a square aspect to newly conjunct Mars with Jupiter which we may be feeling the energy playing out with Tower moments and the release of things no longer spiritually aligned . Saturn is in a frictional aspect with Jupiter and Saturns keeping tabs on if we are in fact in alignment with our spiritual calling and if we in fact are really about all the things we say we are about.
This is a story that began way back in December 2020 when Jupiter and Saturn were in a conjunction meaning they came together to expand on our spiritual life and birth new wisdom and growth that we felt then and now Saturns coming in to check if we in fact are in alignment with a truth birthed at that time. We will be tested that’s what Saturn does he’s the gatekeeper keeping tabs and making sure we are “growing up” so to speak. With the Aquarius full moon happening a few days later on August 19th and in a t-square with Uranus it’s giving a anything goes at this full moon Uranus brings erracticness it wants is revolution and with Mercury retrograde our thoughts are on the past, we are releasing all that cannot come with us , but not without a bang. Saturns in a opposition with the south node dispositor (venus) indicating this full moon has a past flavour to it and volatile unexpectedness to it with black moon lilith & Venus theres a seductive enticing energy that may arrive testing us to see if we take the bait or if we pass Saturns testing. With the t-square from Uranus to both the sun and the moon simultaneously Uranus wants authenticity at any cost, so if we are not spiritually lifting here we will be feeling the heaviness that all this plantery activity can bring about. Those of us that have been working towards our growth and expansion since Saturn and Jupiter came together in 2020 will probably have a easier time with the disruptive energy, but may experience it from outside influences. Add Mercury Retrograde to the mix conjunct the sun square Uranus our thoughts are scattered and we aren’t thinking clearly. This is a great time for reflection and to respond to any toxicity directed at us in a growth oriented manner. We are clearing the energy that’s no longer a fit and moving forward with growth and more wisdom, either from the lessons we’ve learnt from the past 4 years or the new ones we keep having to learn. This energy will carry forward for the next 5 years to when Jupiter and Saturn have a opposition in Dec 22 2029. Saturns lessons are tuff, but so are his blessings when we do the inner work, best not to fight and honour the light!
